M.D.D.M.(Gastroenterology), Gastroenterologist, Hepatologist & Endoscopist

Dr. Sanjay Rajput has almost two decades of clinical experience in Gastroenterology, Liver Diseases (Hepatology) and Gastroenterology Endoscopy. He is the visiting Gastroenterologist at most of the Leading Hospitals – Apollo Group, Shalby Hospital, Sterling Hospital and SAL Hospital.

He has done his MBBS in 1993 from NHL Medical College (Ahmedabad) following which he finished MD Medicine from KM School of PG & VS Hospital. He received his Doctorate of Medicine in the field of Gastroenterology and Hepatology from Mumbai University achieving 1st Rank.

He has completed Endoscopy Training at renowned KEM Hospital (Mumbai) while underwent Advanced Endoscopy Training at Boston (USA) in 2004.

He has also received Advanced Training in ERCP - Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography (which combines upper GI Endoscopy and X-rays to treat problems related to the bile and pancreatic ducts) at Hyderabad with Dr. Nageshwar Reddy (Receiver of Noble prize for Endoscopy and Padma Shri and Padma Bhushan Awardee) and Dr. David Carr Locke (GI faculty, Cornell University, USA). He has numerous publications and scientific papers in both reputed International & National Journal.

In his expert hands, he has performed more than 40000 Diagnostic and Therapeutic Endoscopic Procedures. He has extensive and dexterous experience in following procedures at the state of the art infrastructure at Ansh Clinic:

Diagnostic Endoscopy : Upper GI Endoscopy, Colonoscopy

Therapeutic Endoscopy : Variceal Banding, Endoscopic Schlerotherapy, Esophegeal Dilation, Biliary-Esophageal-Enteral Stent Placements

Therapeutic and Advanced ERCP : Including biliary and pancreatic metal stent placement and laser lithotripsy

He is also very competent in management of GI Bleed by Glue Injection, Variceal Banding, APC, Gold Probe Cauterization. He has done numerous Percutanous Endoscopic Gastrostomies (PEG) and all types of Feeding tube placements including NJT. Foreign body retrieval, Structure Dilatation, Polypectomy, Liver Biopsy, Pig Tail Catheter Drainage, are other procedures routinely performed by him with excellent outcomes.
