Endoscopic Ultrasound
We have many sets of endoscopes to offer uninterrupted services to our patients.
Diagnostic Endoscopic Ultrasound is a minimally invasive procedure where ultrasound probe attached endoscope is inserted into the GI tract which aids the doctor to obtain visual image details of the pancreas. It provides more details apart from what is obtained with CT/MRI imaging techniques.
Therapeutic Endoscopic Ultrasound is a viable and often preferred option over interventional and radiologic procedures. EUS guided drainage of the pancreatic cyst, gallbladder and other fluid collections are few of the therapeutic uses of EUS. Also, Endoscopic Ultrasound-guided fine needle aspiration biopsy is performed routinely to get accurate outline of treatment plan of patients with unknown origin lesions.
